Series I · A family archive in three generations
Working Class
England · Gibraltar · Spain
For three generations, these photographs lived apart in drawers, lofts and albums on both sides of my family: my father’s in London, my mother’s in Gibraltar. Taken on days off across England, Gibraltar and Spain, they are brought together here for the first time, in small, signed, numbered editions. On one side, pints, days at the races and summers at the caravan; on the other, flamenco in the streets of Gibraltar and afternoons in the Sevilla sun. Two cultures, two ways of celebrating, and the same instinct running through both: no one in these photographs had very much, but it never mattered, because everyone was together.

The first eight plates from Working Class. No negatives survive, so each is printed from a scan of the original photograph.
Two sides, one family, the same light on different stone.
On the Wall
Each print is offered in a black frame with a deep white mount.
Editions
Prints are released in small, timed, numbered drops. When a drop closes, that edition is never reprinted.
The first collection is now available in strictly limited editions. For pricing and sizes, please enquire directly.
